Ternion Solutions, LLC (TS, LLC) is a mental health and wellness resource firm that offers therapy, coaching, community outreach services, and other mental health resources. It was founded in 2022.
We are more than a private practice, we are a ministry. Our services are based in Christian values and we choose to approach serving others, with their mental health and wellness needs, through a holistic approach. Life is not linear and when issues arise they are generally complex. For this reason, it is necessary to address life's challenges from an individualized and integrated approach. It is the mission of Ternion Solutions, LLC to assist others with finding their path to mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. We strive to accomplish this by assisting others with healing from past traumas, connecting with a deeper sense of self, and strengthening their connection with God. We strive to hold ourselves to a standard of excellence, compassion, love, and an unconditional positive regard toward those we serve.
Founder Kara Stewart
Kara’s passion for helping others began in 2004. She graduated from Auburn University Montgomery, AL in 2006 with a Bachelors in Psychology. She received her first Masters in Counseling and Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University in 2012 and recently received her second Masters Degree in Mental Health and Wellness with an emphasis in Christian Ministry from Grand Canyon University in 2023. She obtained her license for Professional Counseling in 2016. Kara has worked in the mental health field for over 18years, she is currently a minister and has received the highest ordination as a licensed elder of the AME Zion Church.
Kara has been called by the Lord to encourage and strengthen the weary who are easily dismissed and rejected. She is uniquely anointed in Prophesy, Apostleship and Knowledge for the purpose of equipping others, with skills that will allow them to heal in areas of brokenness, especially those in ministry. Kara seeks to partner with the Holy Spirit, to provide transformation from scriptural foundations. She offers teaching, and instruction to assist others with improving their health and wellness, find their path to healing, and improve their connection with God.
Kara has a passion for working with other ministers and has the privilege to serve the Lord by assisting others in their growth and development as leaders in ministry.
Catherine Terry
Catherine Terry is a committed social work practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in various capacities, including family support, child welfare, community outreach, and education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Miles College and a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary. As a lifelong learner, she is furthering her education at Alabama A&M University and is nearing the end of her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Alabama A&M University. Catherine is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities through evidence-based and culturally relevant methods. She gets practical experience in psychotherapy as an MSW Intern at Ternion Solutions, LLC. She also helps with initial client evaluations, studies therapeutic approaches, and supports HIPAA compliance. Her prior internship included data analysis, community engagement, and program facilitation for workforce development with the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District.
In addition, Catherine works as the Social Service Director (PRN) at McCalla Chapel, where she directs programs, including food drives and teaching sessions, to improve community well-being. Catherine previously worked as a social worker with the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources and as a family service worker with the Jefferson County Committee for Economic Opportunity (JCCEO).
Reflective practice, sensitivity, and a commitment to bettering the lives of marginalized populations are areas of focus in her work.
